Spawnington is the spawn town and capital of the Big Sister server, founded by ciabatta1 even before the server was made public. It is where all players spawn by default, and is the most visited location on the server due to this and its various features.

Teleport Hub[edit | edit source]

The Spawnington TP Hub is one of the closest structures to spawn, and is a very important location. From here, players can teleport to towns and locations all over the server's vast world. For more details and a map of the hub's teleports, please see its page.

The Spawnington Resizer[edit | edit source]

The Spawnington Resizer is located directly next to the teleport hub. This place was once used by all players to set their size when playing with the Gulliver mod. Its nearness to spawn made it a primary location for a quick size change while out and about. However, with the July 3, 2017 Update, this place now sits as a monument to a day since passed.

The World Tree[edit | edit source]

One of the first things to exist in Spawnington, the world tree is a giant Twilight Forest Oak tree near both the resizer and tp hub. This tall tree was imported by Cia into the original map [before it was uploaded onto the server] using MCEdit, and long before players even set foot in the world of Big Sister. At the tree's base, Spawnington's nether portal lies inside, leading to Under Spawnington. The top branches of the tree once contained the second part of an old experimental quest idea, but now holds a teleport to the Twilight Forest National Park. The area around the tree has recently become overgrown with life.

Olde Spawnington[edit | edit source]

Spawnington wasn't always the biggest of cities. It had it's humble beginnings, too. Olde Spawnington, the area directly north of spawn around the Cia themed villager statue, is that humble beginning. Here you can find Mr. Mayor's house, where players once bought keys to the city that allowed them to make their own official towns. Another important shop here was Cia's bakery, where players could stock up on gluten-free bread. If you ever find yourself in need of some quick items, or if you have an excess of items you don't need, stop by the donation building inside the villager church; inside is a chest that is free to give and take from.

Currency Exchange[edit | edit source]

Buying keys to the city and bread were certainly not the only exchanges of currency going on around Spawnington. One important place was the marketplace that ran alongside the shore of Lake Spawnington. Here, there were various stands where players could exchange Cheese for a large number of items. However, to spend cheese, you've gotta get cheese. The Spawnington Bank is the main bank on the server, where cheese can be exchanged between its various forms. Spawnington's bank also has vaults deep below that players once used to store their valuables.

Special Item Shops[edit | edit source]

While players could buy normal items at the marketplace, there were other shops about that sold special items.

  • Cay Shop: This shop sold various items related to cayfie13, including fireworks, ponies, and cayke.
  • Spawnington Mall: The mall once housed various player head shops for decorating and an item shop on the lower floor that sold powerful items, but at a high price. The mall is now the main shopping area, selling everything from wool to redstone.
  • Cia Balloon: If you dared to parkour your way up the mob balloons over Lake Spawnington, you could purchase a Battle Ciabatta, stale bread with high knockback, or a Cia head.
